Full-Service Backyard Redesign: Staircase, Hardscape, Planters & Private Sauna

This backyard had a serious issue. Every time it rained, water would collect and make the space unusable.

Instead of putting a quick fix on it, we looked at the bigger picture. The goal was to solve the drainage problem properly and turn the yard into something the homeowners could actually enjoy while adding real value to the property.

We started by reworking the grading and installing a full drainage system with downspouts and a French drain to handle the water at its source. Once that was taken care of, we focused on reshaping the space.

Custom wood retaining walls allowed us to build out tiered garden beds and create natural steps that improved both the layout and flow of the yard. We also refurbished and powered the shed so it could be used again, and added a sauna to bring everything together and give the space a standout feature.

Everything we did had a purpose. Fix the problem, improve how the space is used, and make it feel like a true extension of the home.
